The Tern Quick Haul P9 is the right tool for all your jobs, a built-to-last compact e-bike that’s ready to tackle your daily grind with a compact, space-saving design simplifies storage and transport. Think of it as the multitool of e-bikes: small and unassuming enough to be your daily go-to, yet capable of handling big jobs with finesse.
The short, low-capacity rear racks found on most city bikes limit how much you can do by bike (and make defaulting to a car more likely). The Quick Haul features an extra-long rear rack with a 50-kg (110 lb) capacity, so you can do a lot more – from hauling groceries to giving your kid a lift to school. Add an optional front rack to do both at once.
The Quick Haul features the unbeatably smooth Bosch motor system paired with stable yet responsive geometry. The result: a bike that’s as fun to ride as it is useful. The cockpit offers a comfy riding position similar to your favourite hybrid or trekking bike – perfect for turning everyday chores into mini adventures.
The Quick Haul has a very low 490mm (19") standover height makes mounting and dismounting safer and easier, even when carrying loads (plus, it’s wardrobe-friendly).
You can park and roll vertically the Quick Haul to fit in small spaces (including elevators). It’s got a footprint about the size of a potted plant.

The same should go for your e-bike, the Quick Haul with an adjustable stem and seatpost to fit riders 160 - 195cm (5’3” - 6’5”). Shorter rider? No problem. The Quick Haul also fits riders 145 - 180cm (4’9” - 5'11") when equipped with a shorter seatpost (350mm).

Max gross vehicle weight (MGVW) is a key concept to understand a bike's load limit. The MGVW includes the weight of the bike and the rider, plus any accessories, cargo, and/or passengers.
* Bike = weight of the bike plus batteries; ** Rider(s) = weight of the cyclist and any passengers
In addition to MGVW, your bike's load limit also depends on its rear rack capacity. So Tern have designed and tested their e-bikes to the following load limits:

Parts & Accessories
Place an order for £50 or more and delivery is free to mainland UK (including Highlands), for an order under £50 delivery is charged at £8.99.
For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle Or Man and other non mainland locations additional charges will apply. For parts and accessories we aim to despatch the next working day after the order is placed.
For hygiene and safety reasons, helmets cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty. Please ensure you choose the correct size and style before purchasing.
Delivery With Multiple Items On Order
Please note if you order more than one item online your products may arrive in separate shipments. We do aim to send everything together but logistically this is sometimes just not feasible. For more information about delivery timescales please click HERE
Lead Times Electric Bikes
Before despatch, bikes are built, configured and tested by one of our experienced technical team.
We aim to despatch an in-stock bike 1-5 days after an order is placed (not including weekends / bank & public holidays). For bike located in a warehouse location we aim to dispatch within 10-12 days (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
Please note the dispatch timescale shown in on our website / basket / order confirmation are estimated. If applicable Saturdays are included in the calculation however items are normally only dispatched Monday to Friday.
Bikes will be delivered by DX or TNT, please for some models the front wheel will be packed in a separate box but both wheel and bike should be delivered at the same time.
On all boxed deliveries the product name on the box may not match the model inside (our team sometimes have to use a different box than the one that initially came from the manufacturer) so please open the box to check!

Boxed Bike Delivery
Free boxed delivery requires basic assembly of your bike when it arrives. Generally the front wheel will need to be reattached, the bars will need to be turned plus pedals fitted.

FREE boxed bike delivery Our Standard Boxed Delivery for bikes is FREE to UK mainland locations (excluding Highlands where there is an additional surcharge payable).
We can also deliver a bike to BT Northern Ireland and IM Isle Of Man subject to surcharges plus Orkney and Shetland Islands, please refer to the map below for our current prices, for other non mainland locations please contact us for a quote.
Ready2Ride Delivery
Choose our Ready2Ride Service and one of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. Ready2Ride Delivery For Cargo Bikes
From mid July 2024 we are now able to deliver a cargo bike in a box for FREE (to our regular FREE delivery areas - not Highlands etc)
Previously as our cargo bikes are larger than standard electric bikes they were only available for home delivery via our Ready2Ride delivery option (or click and collect), you can still select this option however if you prefer. One of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block.
This premium delivery is available to locations within a 50-75 miles radius of one of our stores. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. If your delivery address is outside our delivery area please contact our Customer Services team on 0117 452 6571

Full Warranty On Your New Tern Bike
Tern bicycles are sold on behalf of our company (“Tern”) by selected Authorized Tern Dealers who understand the assembly and service needs of our products. Tern provides a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship to the original retail purchaser (“Owner”) of a Tern bicycle from the date of purchase according to the following terms:
5 Years on Frame, fork and handlebar post (can be extended to 10 years with Tern Care), 1 year on components
One Year: All Tern or BioLogic branded parts and components, except as noted below.
Other: Any other parts or components are covered by the stated warranty of the original manufacturer of that part or component.
24 month Bosch warranty on motor and battery.

Electric Bikes are regulated in line with existing Electric Power Assisted Cycles regulations. Tern does not endorse any upgrades that are added to electronic e-bikes, as this will invalidate a customer’s warranty.
