The Amflow PL Carbon Pro represents a revolutionary step in electric mountain biking, delivering the ideal fusion of cutting-edge technology and trail-focused performance. Built around DJI's groundbreaking Avinox drive system, this full-suspension e-MTB pushes the boundaries of what's possible when innovative engineering meets serious mountain biking capability.
Compared to the standard version of the PL Carbon, the Pro uses the same electrical system components but offers upgrades to top-tier selections with Fox's premium shock absorption and seatpost, and a higher spec drivetrain.
This e-MTB has breathtaking speed, handling, and agility that you'll absolutely love, because unlike many full-suspension e-bikes the Amflow PL Carbon Pro weighs in at approximately 19kg thanks to its ultra-light carbon fiber frame that weighs just 2.27kg. Compare that to other e-MTB bikes that often weigh up to 25kg or so.
DJI has long been famous for their high quality, advanced airborne drones, and in an exciting and unexpected twist they are now using their expertise in batteries and electric motors to venture into the electric bike industry with the debut of their very powerful Avinox drive system. This very impressive motor weighs 2.52kg and delivers a formidable 105Nm continuous torque, with 850W peak power and 250W nominal power, enabling riders to tackle the steepest and most challenging terrains easily. Smart-Assist Algorithm is one of the best features of the Avinox drive system. It cleverly combines input from multiple sensors to automatically adjust assistance to the riding conditions from one moment to the next. Riders can choose from four power management modes: auto, eco, trail, and turbo. This smart system helps to provide optimal performance and efficiency across various terrains. Additionally, the controller offers a Walk Mode which features Auto Hold to prevent rollback on slopes as well as Hill Start Assist and stationary gear shifting for a smooth experience.
This amazing motor alone is enough to make off-road adventurers add this bike to the top of their wishlist, however, as if that wasn't enough DJI have outdone the competition yet again with probably the most capable battery and charging system you'll find on any e-MTB in the UK. The Avinox battery included features a top end 800Wh capacity to offer you tons of milage for your extended adventures and enjoying hour after hour of addictive fun until you decide to call it a day. When the time comes to top the battery back up and get going again, you'll see just how satisfying and practical the Avinox system is. The inclusion of GaN 3X fast charging technology in the 12A / 508W fast charger means the 800Wh battery can reach 75% charge in just 1.5 hours! This rapid charging ability is a significant advantage for those who seek long-range performance, ensuring minimal downtime and getting you back on the trail as soon as possible.
The carbon fibre frame design showcases superb performance-oriented, ultra-light weight construction, featuring 150mm of rear wheel travel through a sophisticated four-bar linkage system. This advanced suspension platform works in harmony with the 2026 Fox 36 Factory fork, which delivers 160mm of travel via its advanced GRIP X2 damper. The co-developed Fox Float X Factory rear shock utilises a custom tune with EVOL air sleeve technology, providing sensitive initial stroke response for filtering trail chatter whilst maintaining powerful end-stroke support during aggressive riding.
Gear shifting is handled by SRAM's X0 Eagle Transmission system, representing the latest evolution in electronic drivetrain technology. The AXS Pod Controller provides instant, precise gear changes across the 10-52T cassette range, whilst the robust chain and derailleur construction ensures reliable performance under the substantial torque loads generated by the Avinox motor. The Avinox SL crank complements the transmission with its optimised chainline and appropriate length options across frame sizes.
Confident control comes courtesy of Magura's MT7 Pro hydraulic disc brake system, featuring four-piston callipers and 203mm Storm HC rotors both front and rear. These powerful brakes deliver the consistent stopping performance essential when managing the speed capabilities of a full-power e-MTB, whilst the HC levers provide ergonomic comfort during extended trail sessions.
The wheels centre around Amflow's own HMC-30 wheelset, built with tubeless-ready carbon rims offering 30mm internal width for optimal tyre support. SAPIM E-Light straight-pull spokes connect to sealed cartridge bearing hubs, with the rear hub featuring a robust 78-tooth connection for reliable power transfer. Maxxis provides the rubber contact points, with an aggressive Assegai 2.5" tyre up front for maximum cornering grip and climbing traction, paired with a Dissector 2.4" rear tyre that balances rolling efficiency with controlled braking performance. Both tyres feature the proven 3C MaxxTerra compound and are rated for e-bike use.
The finishing touches demonstrate thoughtful attention to rider interface and control. The Fox Transfer Factory dropper seatpost offers size-specific travel lengths, ensuring optimal saddle height adjustment across the frame size range. Amflow's own enduro-focused carbon handlebar provides 800mm width with carefully considered rise and sweep angles, along with a matching stem of 35mm length. The integrated 2 inch full-colour OLED touchscreen display keeps essential real-time ride data and range at your fingertips, complemented by the innovative wireless controllers positioned on both sides of the handlebar. Paired with the Avinox smartphone app, it offers remote locating features.
This e-MTB arrives ready for serious trail adventures, complete with an accessory kit that includes front and rear lights, a quick start guide, and also a torque wrench and shock pump to support proper setup and maintenance.

Place an order for £50 or more and delivery is free to mainland UK (including Highlands), for an order under £50 delivery is charged at £8.99.
For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle Or Man and other non mainland locations additional charges will apply. For parts and accessories we aim to despatch the next working day after the order is placed.
For hygiene and safety reasons, helmets cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty. Please ensure you choose the correct size and style before purchasing.

Lead Times Electric Bikes
Before despatch, bikes are built, configured and tested by one of our experienced technical team.
We aim to despatch an in-stock bike 1-4 days after an order is placed (not including weekends / bank & public holidays). For bike located in a warehouse location we aim to dispatch within 8-10 days (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
Please note the dispatch timescale shown in on our website / basket / order confirmation are estimated. If applicable Saturdays are included in the calculation however items are normally only dispatched Monday to Friday.
Bikes will be delivered by DX or TNT, please for some models the front wheel will be packed in a separate box but both wheel and bike should be delivered at the same time.
On all boxed deliveries the product name on the box may not match the model inside (our team sometimes have to use a different box than the one that initially came from the manufacturer) so please open the box to check!

Boxed Bike Delivery
Boxed delivery requires basic assembly of your bike when it arrives. Generally the front wheel will need to be reattached, the bars will need to be turned plus pedals fitted.

Ready2Ride Delivery For Cargo Bikes
From mid July 2024 we are now able to deliver a cargo bike in a box for FREE (to our regular FREE delivery areas - not Highlands etc)
Previously as our cargo bikes are larger than standard electric bikes they were only available for home delivery via our Ready2Ride delivery option (or click and collect), you can still select this option however if you prefer. One of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block.
This premium delivery is available to locations within a 50-75 miles radius of one of our stores. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. If your delivery address is outside our delivery area please contact our Customer Services team on 0117 452 6571
