The powerful Yamaha PW-TE motor gives you the boost you need for many miles - whether on your commute to work or on a multi-day ride with luggage.
Yamaha PW-TE motor is designed specifically for urban conditions, using multiple sensors to detect when you will need assistance most, for example setting off from lights or coming up on a sudden steep incline. This Automatic Support Mode makes the riding experience incredibly simple, but also intuitive and natural.
The 500Wh battery is hidden away in the frame and provides plenty of range for a big day out or a weeks worth of shorter commutes. The battery can quickly and easily be removed for charging or charged while on the bike too.
The LCD Yamaha Side Switch display is very easy to use, clearly see your speed, battery capacity and mileage remaining. Assistance support mode can be changed at the press of a button as you ride.
The wheels borrow from Haibike’s mountain bike background, using the 27.5” size to allow a larger tyre for extra cushioning against potholes or poor road surfaces. Shod with Continental Contact tyres, the Trekking 4 is swift on the road and can handle loose surfaces too – plus there’s scope for fitting a chunkier tread for off-road excursions.
SR Suntour NEX E25, forks with 63mm of travel allow you to ride with comfort over on rougher surfaces, soaking up roots and potholes with ease, reducing fatigue in your hands and wrists.
The reliable Shimano drivetrain provides wide-range 9-speed gearing with precise shifting. Shimano also supply their hydraulic disc brakes for powerful, controlled braking regardless of road surface or weather conditions.
The Trekking 4 has everything you need for cruising in the city, or for extended rides in the countryside, fully equipped with a luggage rack, lights, mudguards and a kickstand.
Lead Times
Before despatch, bikes are built, configured and tested by one of our experienced technical team.
Free boxed delivery requires basic assembly of your bike when it arrives. Generally the front wheel will need to be reattached, the bars will need to be turned plus pedals fitted.

We aim to despatch an in-stock bike 3-5 days after an order is placed (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
For bike located in a warehouse location we aim to dispatch within 10-12 days (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
Please note the dispatch timescale shown in on our website / basket / order confirmation are estimated. If applicable Saturdays are included in the calculation however items are normally only dispatched Monday to Friday.
Bikes will be delivered by DX or TNT, please note for some Cube Stereo the front wheel will be packed in a separate box but both wheel and bike should be delivered at the same time.

Boxed Bike Delivery
FREE boxed bike delivery Our Standard Boxed Delivery for bikes is FREE to UK mainland locations (excluding Highlands where there is an additional surcharge payable).
We can also deliver a bike to BT Northern Ireland and IM Isle Of Man subject to surcharges plus Orkney and Shetland Islands, please refer to the map below for our current prices, for other non mainland locations please contact us for a quote.
**1st May 2025** At present we are not able to deliver to Northern Ireland BT Postcodes, due to recently introduced customs requirements.***
Ready2Ride Delivery
Choose our Ready2Ride Service and one of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. Ready2Ride Delivery For Cargo Bikes
From mid July 2024 we are now able to deliver a cargo bike in a box for FREE (to our regular FREE delivery areas - not Highlands etc)
Previously as our cargo bikes are larger than standard electric bikes they were only available for home delivery via our Ready2Ride delivery option (or click and collect), you can still select this option however if you prefer. One of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block.
This premium delivery is available to locations within a 50-75 miles radius of one of our stores. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. If your delivery address is outside our delivery area please contact our Customer Services team on 0117 452 6571
Parts & Accessories
Place an order for £50 or more and delivery is free to mainland UK (including Highlands), for an order under £50 delivery is charged at £8.99.
For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle Or Man and other non mainland locations additional charges will apply.
Click & Collect
For Click & Collect orders, for security you must present photo ID plus the payment card used at time of collection. This is also applicable when you have purchased using V12 Finance. For more information click HERE
Delivery With Multiple Items On Order
Please note if you order more than one item online your products may arrive in separate shipments. We do aim to send everything together but logistically this is sometimes just not feasible.
HAIBIKE WARRANTY
We want you to keep on enjoying your new Haibike for years to come. That’s why your new bike is under warranty from the moment you buy it.
Your Haibike bike warranty covers manufacturing defects, electrical component faults and bearings.
The first owner gets 5 years manufacturer's warranty on the frame starting on purchase day unless the frame is carbon then your warranty is 2 years.
2 years on all electrical components.

Electric Bikes are regulated in line with existing Electric Power Assisted Cycles regulations. Haibike UK does not endorse any upgrades that are added to electronic e-bikes, as this will invalidate a customer’s warranty.

We offer 10 days free insurance with all new bikes purchased from The Electric Bike Shop, provided by our insurance partner VeloLife. You will be covered for the first 10 days of ownership against theft, accidental damage and malicious damage, so you can purchase with confidence.
If ordering online, you can select to include insurance during checkout will be given a link upon completing your order to activate your 10 days free insurance. If you are purchasing in-store or through our sales team then speak to them directly about activating your free insurance on your behalf.
