Parts & Accessories

Place an order for £50 or more and delivery is free to mainland UK (including Highlands), for an order under £50 delivery is charged at £8.99.

For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle Or Man and other non mainland locations additional charges will apply. For parts and accessories we aim to despatch the next working day after the order is placed.

For hygiene and safety reasons, helmets cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty. Please ensure you choose the correct size and style before purchasing.

Delivery With Multiple Items On Order

Please note if you order more than one item online your products may arrive in separate shipments. We do aim to send everything together but logistically this is sometimes just not feasible. ​For more information about delivery timescales please click HERE

Lead Times Electric Bikes

Before despatch, bikes are built, configured and tested by one of our experienced technical team. 

We aim to despatch an in-stock bike 1-5 days after an order is placed (not including weekends / bank & public holidays). For bike located in a warehouse location we aim to dispatch within 10-12 days (not including weekends / bank & public holidays). 

Please note the dispatch timescale shown in on our website / basket / order confirmation are estimated. If applicable Saturdays are included in the calculation however items are normally only dispatched Monday to Friday.

Bikes will be delivered by DX or TNT, please for some models the front wheel will be packed in a separate box but both wheel and bike should be delivered at the same time.

On all boxed deliveries the product name on the box may not match the model inside (our team sometimes have to use a different box than the one that initially came from the manufacturer) so please open the box to check!

Boxed Bike Delivery

Free boxed delivery requires basic assembly of your bike when it arrives. Generally the front wheel will need to be reattached, the bars will need to be turned plus pedals fitted.

FREE boxed bike delivery Our Standard Boxed Delivery for bikes is FREE to UK mainland locations (excluding Highlands where there is an additional surcharge payable).

We can also deliver a bike to BT Northern Ireland and IM Isle Of Man subject to surcharges plus Orkney and Shetland Islands, please refer to the map below for our current prices, for other non mainland locations please contact us for a quote.

Ready2Ride Delivery

Choose our Ready2Ride Service and one of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. Ready2Ride Delivery For Cargo Bikes

From mid July 2024 we are now able to deliver a cargo bike in a box for FREE (to our regular FREE delivery areas - not Highlands etc)

Previously as our cargo bikes are larger than standard electric bikes they were only available for home delivery via our Ready2Ride delivery option (or click and collect), you can still select this option however if you prefer. One of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block.

This premium delivery is available to locations within a 50-75 miles radius of one of our stores. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. If your delivery address is outside our delivery area please contact our Customer Services team on 0117 452 6571

Corratec Warranty

We want you to keep on enjoying your Corratec bike for years to come. That’s why your new bike is under a 2 year warranty from the moment you buy it. We want you to keep on enjoying your Corratec eBike.

Electric Bikes are regulated in line with existing Electric Power Assisted Cycles regulations. Corratec does not endorse any upgrades that are added to electronic e-bikes, as this will invalidate a customer’s warranty.

The statutory warranty provisions in the country where the pedelec was purchased shall apply. Warranty claims must be asserted against the bicycle dealer from whom the pedelec was purchased.

In order for warranty and guarantee claims to be asserted, proof of purchase for the relevant pedelec must be provided.

The customer must also register in the ‘Extended guarantee’ section on the Corratec website www.corratec.com. The two-year statutory warranty only applies if registration or inspections are not carried out.

In addition to the statutory warranty, the company iko Sportartikelhandels GmbH provides
an extended guarantee for Corratec’s frame and fork. The guarantee is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

The guarantee is valid for:
• the aluminium frame: 6 years
• full-suspension frame: 6 years
• the carbon frame: 6 years

Battery

Your e-bike battery is guaranteed to maintain a minimum of 60% state of health for 2 years or a maximum of 500 charge cycles. To maintain this warranty the battery must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and charged every 90 days as a minimum.

Please Note: Not all faults are covered by warranty. The below scenarios are NOT covered under warranty.

• Stripped pedal threads.
• Damage from causes other than defects in material or workmanship. For instance, damage caused by crashing your bike.
• Normal wear and tear. Components may show signs of wear and tear in less than two years depending on the amount of use, type of use and other conditions. Some components can be expected to reach the end of their serviceable lifespan within this time under certain use conditions.
• Damage to products improperly installed or repaired.
• Products that have been modified, neglected, abused or poorly maintained.
• Electric bikes that have been de-restricted or modified.
• Punctures

We offer 10 days free insurance with all new bikes purchased from The Electric Bike Shop, provided by our insurance partner VeloLife. You will be covered for the first 10 days of ownership against theft, accidental damage and malicious damage, so you can purchase with confidence.

If ordering online, you can select to include insurance during checkout will be given a link upon completing your order to activate your 10 days free insurance. If you are purchasing in-store or through our sales team then speak to them directly about activating your free insurance on your behalf.
