The Haibike Trekking 5 High with the crossbar frame variant represents a versatile electric bicycle capable of handling various tasks, whether that be a commute to work, an after-work session, or transporting you and your luggage on a multi-day riding tour. It features the latest Yamaha motor, delivering robust power, and a 720Wh battery that ensures extended rides. This generous capability is further enhanced by the fact you can take your Haibike Trekking out for a ride come rain or shine, and at any time of day, thanks to fitted front & rear lights and full mudguards. A rear pannier rack makes transporting the essentials a breeze, whether packing a small bag for work or kitting it out with a full range of luggage for cycling expeditions.
Crafted from lightweight aluminium, the bike's frame boasts a comfortable design, promoting an upright riding posture to maximise comfort during extended journeys. Integrated into this frame is Yamaha's latest PW-S2 System motor with up to 75Nm of torque help carry you up those hills with ease. Neatly tucked into the downtube is the Yamaha InTube 720Wh battery, which offers one of the highest power capacities of typical single-battery bikes on the market, and grants an impressive range of up to 120 miles on a single charge.
The powerful output of the Trekking 5 drive system in channelled into action through a high spec drivechain, consisting of a 11-speed Shimano Deore M5100 sprocket and rear derailleur, connected with the Shimano CN-M6100 chain, which gives you seamless and dependable gear shifting, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride. To make the ride even smoother the frame features a SR Suntour Mobie 25 LOR suspension fork with 100mm of travel to soak up bumps and shocks on rough roads.
Of course, with a powerful drive system you also need great stopping power too, and this is aptly provided by the Shimano MT200 2-piston disc brakes front and rear. The chunky tyres mean you have good ground contact to put that stopping power into effect, in addition to making you well equipped for light off-road use. The tyres installed on this bike are the 27.5" Ruban Reflex from Continental, featuring great grip and puncture resistance, and making them ideal for varied riding conditions.

We aim to despatch an in-stock bike 3-5 days after an order is placed (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
For bike located in a warehouse location we aim to dispatch within 10-12 days (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
Bikes will be delivered by DX or TNT, please note for some Cube Stereo the front wheel will be packed in a separate box but both wheel and bike should be delivered at the same time.

Boxed Bike Delivery
FREE boxed bike delivery Our Standard Boxed Delivery for bikes is FREE to UK mainland locations (excluding Highlands where there is an additional surcharge payable).
We can also deliver a bike to BT Northern Ireland and IM Isle Of Man subject to surcharges plus Orkney and Shetland Islands, please refer to the map below for our current prices, for other non mainland locations please contact us for a quote.
Ready2Ride Delivery
Choose our Ready2Ride Service and one of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. Ready2Ride Delivery For Cargo Bikes
From mid July 2024 we are now able to deliver a cargo bike in a box for FREE (to our regular FREE delivery areas - not Highlands etc)
Previously as our cargo bikes are larger than standard electric bikes they were only available for home delivery via our Ready2Ride delivery option (or click and collect), you can still select this option however if you prefer. One of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block.
This premium delivery is available to locations within a 50-75 miles radius of one of our stores. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. If your delivery address is outside our delivery area please contact our Customer Services team on 0117 452 6571
Parts & Accessories
Place an order for £50 or more and delivery is free to mainland UK (including Highlands), for an order under £50 delivery is charged at £8.99.
For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle Or Man and other non mainland locations additional charges will apply.
Click & Collect
For Click & Collect orders, for security you must present photo ID plus the payment card used at time of collection. This is also applicable when you have purchased using V12 Finance. For more information click HERE
Delivery With Multiple Items On Order
Please note if you order more than one item online your products may arrive in separate shipments. We do aim to send everything together but logistically this is sometimes just not feasible.
HAIBIKE WARRANTY
We want you to keep on enjoying your new Haibike for years to come. That’s why your new bike is under warranty from the moment you buy it.
Your Haibike bike warranty covers manufacturing defects, electrical component faults and bearings.
The first owner gets 5 years manufacturer's warranty on the frame starting on purchase day unless the frame is carbon then your warranty is 2 years.
2 years on all electrical components.

Electric Bikes are regulated in line with existing Electric Power Assisted Cycles regulations. Haibike UK does not endorse any upgrades that are added to electronic e-bikes, as this will invalidate a customer’s warranty.

We offer 10 days free insurance with all new bikes purchased from The Electric Bike Shop, provided by our insurance partner VeloLife. You will be covered for the first 10 days of ownership against theft, accidental damage and malicious damage, so you can purchase with confidence.
If ordering online, you can select to include insurance during checkout will be given a link upon completing your order to activate your 10 days free insurance. If you are purchasing in-store or through our sales team then speak to them directly about activating your free insurance on your behalf.

Your Service Plan is non-refundable, non-transferable and is registered to you and your bike (frame number required)
