The Tenways City Utility Longtail Duo is your smart, secure family hauler. It is designed for life and to carry your most precious cargo with ease.
Featuring a virtually maintenance free super durable carbon Gates CDX belt drive which is extremely quiet, paired with easy to use Enviolo hub gears, as simple to use as turning a radio dial.
Because family come first the City Utility Duo is designed to either carry two babies or two children with a front rack holding a bag. It can also be used to carry your weekly groceries plus larger items as well.
Use this bike for everything with or without passengers, drop the kids off at school and continue the commute to work, stop at the shops on the way home, it really is that versatile and the front suspension ensures even when the surface is rougher the ride is smooth and comfortable.
Fully loaded for family life and equipped with accessories such as guard rails and seat cushions plus spoke protectors and a stepping board, there is a handy MIK system for the younger passengers safety and comfort.
The rear carrier is extra long, there is a very handy EVA storage bag behind the telescopic seat post, the RoyalGel saddle is extremely comfortable and the stem is adjustable so you can fine tune your riding position, a heavy duty kickstand ensures the bike remains extremely stable when not being ridden.
The heavy duty Bafang mid drive motor with 80Nm of torque means even on steeper hills the ride will be easy, plus when carrying kids or cargo there is plenty of assistance available.
An extra large capacity 720Wh battery is fully removable for easy charging off the bike, and is seamlessly integrated into the frame.
The Gates CDX carbon belt is virtually maintenance free, no oily or greasy chain and ensures a very smooth ride. Combined with easy to use hub gear, shift up or down even when stationary or under significant load, ideal for city riding with frequent stops and starts.
Also featuring intelligent anti theft protection, giving you extra peace of mind, GPS Tracking combined with motion detection and 'safe' zone notice function, receive an alert if the bike leaves your designated 'safe' area, the Longtail Duo also benefits from an Abus frame lock.

Parts & Accessories
Place an order for £50 or more and delivery is free to mainland UK (including Highlands), for an order under £50 delivery is charged at £8.99.
For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle Or Man and other non mainland locations additional charges will apply. For parts and accessories we aim to despatch the next working day after the order is placed.
For hygiene and safety reasons, helmets cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty. Please ensure you choose the correct size and style before purchasing.
Delivery With Multiple Items On Order
Please note if you order more than one item online your products may arrive in separate shipments. We do aim to send everything together but logistically this is sometimes just not feasible. For more information about delivery timescales please click HERE
Lead Times Electric Bikes
Before despatch, bikes are built, configured and tested by one of our experienced technical team.
We aim to despatch an in-stock bike 1-4 days after an order is placed (not including weekends / bank & public holidays). For bike located in a warehouse location we aim to dispatch within 8-10 days (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
Please note the dispatch timescale shown in on our website / basket / order confirmation are estimated. If applicable Saturdays are included in the calculation however items are normally only dispatched Monday to Friday.
Bikes will be delivered by DX or TNT, please for some models the front wheel will be packed in a separate box but both wheel and bike should be delivered at the same time.
On all boxed deliveries the product name on the box may not match the model inside (our team sometimes have to use a different box than the one that initially came from the manufacturer) so please open the box to check!

Boxed Bike Delivery
Boxed delivery requires basic assembly of your bike when it arrives. Generally the front wheel will need to be reattached, the bars will need to be turned plus pedals fitted.

FREE boxed bike delivery Our Free Boxed Delivery for bikes / baskets £999 and above is FREE to UK mainland locations (excluding Highlands where there is an additional surcharge payable).
For bikes under £999 we charge £49.99 for boxed delivery to to UK mainland locations (excluding Highlands where there is an additional surcharge payable).
We can also deliver a bike to BT Northern Ireland and IM Isle Of Man subject to surcharges plus Orkney and Shetland Islands, please refer to the map below for our current prices, for other non mainland locations please contact us for a quote.
Ready2Ride Delivery
Choose our Ready2Ride Service and one of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. Ready2Ride Delivery For Cargo Bikes
From mid July 2024 we are now able to deliver a cargo bike in a box for FREE (to our regular FREE delivery areas - not Highlands etc)
Previously as our cargo bikes are larger than standard electric bikes they were only available for home delivery via our Ready2Ride delivery option (or click and collect), you can still select this option however if you prefer. One of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block.
This premium delivery is available to locations within a 50-75 miles radius of one of our stores. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. If your delivery address is outside our delivery area please contact our Customer Services team on 0117 452 6571

Your Service Plan is non-refundable, non-transferable and is registered to you and your bike (frame number required)
To ensure that we never let our you down, we proactively monitor competitor prices and adjust our own prices every week.

Unless otherwise provided under this policy, the Warranty applies to all non-consumable and non-wearable components of the Product, including but not limited to the frame, motor, controller, torque sensor, battery. Certain consumables and wearable components may also be covered as listed under “Warranty Periods by Component.
The warranty period commences either on the date of purchase as stated on the original purchase invoice and remains in effect for the duration specified for each component listed below.
