Tern have redesigned their GSD cargo bike to make this Generation 2 version still as small as its predecessor but now even more useful for people looking to replace their car for as many tasks and journeys as possible. The GSD S10 has a Maximum Gross Vehicle Weight of 200kg (440lb) and with its impressive and unique range of accessories it will let you carry up to two children and groceries, or a stunning amount of cargo.
With this degreee of power and flexibility, as well as the extended range offered by the dual battery setup, it's hard to find any electric bike with more utility than this.This cargo electric bike has the advantage of being powered by the best-in-class Bosch Cargo Line motor, giving you a smooth, natural ride, and with 85Nm torque and 400% pedal assist you can plan your route to suit your needs rather than having to avoid serious hills.
Vertical Parking allows it to be stood on its end with about the same footprint as a potted plant, so that you can get it in an elevator without too much fuss and you can store it in small living spaces without losing valuable floor area. The FlatFold feature takes the bike down to one third of its volume in seconds and making it easier to stash away when not in use or to pack into a van, SUV or train for use further away from home. So why not take it with you on holidays or expeditions too!
With Tern's range of passenger-carrying accessories and adjustable cockpit, the GSD S10 is useful for the whole family, enabling your whole household to share it and ensures you can enjoy a really long useful lifespan from the bike because you won't need to buy a new bike to upgrade as your children grow older and bigger. The adjustable cockpit can be resized without tools in seconds to accommodate riders with a height of 150 - 195cm (4'11" - 6'5"). The higher handlebars and slacker seat tube angle of the redesigned frame give you a more comfortable ride too. Various seating accessories empower you to to use the bike's rear cargo area to carry two small children, or one small and one larger child, or one much older child with the Clubhouse, or with the Integrated Lower Decks for comfy foot support and optional Captain's Chair you can give an adult friend or your spouse a lift.
Need to take your children somewhere when the weather isn't great? The Clubhouse child seating provides a fully enclosed space to keep out the wind and rain, keeping your child dry and comfortable all year round.
One of the aspects of the GSD S10 you'll come to appreciate is the low centre of gravity which creates a very stable riding experience and allows even smaller riders to transport heavy loads or very wiggly children confidently. The step-thru frame makes it easy to get on and off the bike even when fully loaded, and with the new geometry it is also easier to place your feet on the ground during stops.
Fortunately you can be assured by the unbelievably strong and stable Atlas Lockstand we created for this bike. This kickstand automatically locks into place when engaged, and when you are ready to roll you just press the Remote Unlock and move forwards.
Everyday use of cargo bikes places them under enourmous stress, so the GSD's frame and fork has been tested to Germany's demanding EFBE Tri-Test safety standard where it is subjected to 10x the cycles and 3x the typical forces on a bicycle frame.

Before despatch, bikes need to be built, configured and tested. We aim to despatch a boxed bike 3 -5 days after an order is placed (not including weekends). Boxed Bike Delivery
FREE boxed bike delivery is available to mainland UK locations, for Highlands and Islands there is a surcharge. We can also deliver to BT Northern Ireland and IM Isle Of Man for an additional charge, for other non mainland locations please contact us for a quote. **this service is not available for Cargo bikes.
Ready2Ride Delivery
Choose our Ready2Ride Service and one of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block. This premium delivery is available to locations within a 75 miles radius of one of our stores, if your postcode qualifies for this service it will available to select at checkout. As our electric cargo bikes are larger than standard electric bikes these are only available for home delivery via our Ready2Ride delivery option (or click and collect). Parts & Accessories
Place an order for £50 or more and delivery is free to mainland UK (including Highlands), for an order under £50 delivery is charged at £8.99.
For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle Or Man and other non mainland locatons additional charges will apply.

TERN WARRANTY
Full Warranty On Your New Tern Bike
Tern bicycles are sold on behalf of our company (“Tern”) by selected Authorized Tern Dealers who understand the assembly and service needs of our products. Tern provides a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship to the original retail purchaser (“Owner”) of a Tern bicycle from the date of purchase according to the following terms:
5 Years on Frame, fork and handlebar post (can be extended to 10 years with Tern Care), 1 year on components
One Year: All Tern or BioLogic branded parts and components, except as noted below.
Other: Any other parts or components are covered by the stated warranty of the original manufacturer of that part or component.
24 month Bosch warranty on motor and battery.

Your Service Plan is non-refundable, non-transferable and is registered to you and your bike (frame number required)
