The Babboe Big cargo bike was Babboe’s very first model on the market. The Big is a robust three-wheel cargo bike with enough room for 4 children. The Babboe Big solves a lot of logistical problems in one go. The folding benches allow for tons of room in the box, even when the little ones aren’t riding along. Very convenient when doing a big shopping trip, for example.
With the electric Babboe Big cargo bike you can go anywhere with your little ones. Thanks to the 8-position electric pedal assistance, you can effortlessly cycle back and forth to school, the park or the playground.
GWA Energy 36V 250W maintenance free motor, 40Nm torque and 500Wh battery giving you a range of between 50-70km.
The sturdy cargo box is made from European birch concrete-plex. The panels consist of 9 layers of bonded birch veneer, finished with a phenol resin film. The edges are treated with edge sealant to better protect the panels against the elements. The wooden box is FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council).
Carry up to 100kg in the cargo box and the Big-E is suitable for a rider up to 100kg with a minumn height of 5ft 2" the rear rack also can take up to 25kg.
The benches in the box are easy to fold up, which comes in handy for those times you have a lot of groceries, or other cargo you need to carry in the cargo bike. Thanks to

can get in and out even if you stop on a slope.

Before despatch, bikes are built, configured and tested by one of our experienced technical team.

We aim to despatch an in-stock bike 3-5 days after an order is placed (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
For bike located in a warehouse location we aim to dispatch within 10-12 days (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
Bikes will be delivered by DX or TNT, please note for some Cube Stereo the front wheel will be packed in a separate box but both wheel and bike should be delivered at the same time.

Boxed Bike Delivery
FREE boxed bike delivery Our Standard Boxed Delivery for bikes is FREE to UK mainland locations (excluding Highlands where there is an additional surcharge payable).
We can also deliver a bike to BT Northern Ireland and IM Isle Of Man subject to surcharges plus Orkney and Shetland Islands, please refer to the map below for our current prices, for other non mainland locations please contact us for a quote.
Ready2Ride Delivery
Choose our Ready2Ride Service and one of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. Ready2Ride Delivery For Cargo Bikes
From mid July 2024 we are now able to deliver a cargo bike in a box for FREE (to our regular FREE delivery areas - not Highlands etc)
Previously as our cargo bikes are larger than standard electric bikes they were only available for home delivery via our Ready2Ride delivery option (or click and collect), you can still select this option however if you prefer. One of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block.
This premium delivery is available to locations within a 50-75 miles radius of one of our stores. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. If your delivery address is outside our delivery area please contact our Customer Services team on 0117 452 6571
Parts & Accessories
Place an order for £50 or more and delivery is free to mainland UK (including Highlands), for an order under £50 delivery is charged at £8.99.
For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle Or Man and other non mainland locations additional charges will apply.
Click & Collect
For Click & Collect orders, for security you must present photo ID plus the payment card used at time of collection. This is also applicable when you have purchased using V12 Finance. For more information click HERE
Delivery With Multiple Items On Order
Please note if you order more than one item online your products may arrive in separate shipments. We do aim to send everything together but logistically this is sometimes just not feasible.
BABBOE WARRANTY
We want you to keep on enjoying your Babboe bike for years to come. That’s why your new bike is under warranty from the moment you buy it.
The Babboe cargo bikes come with a 5-year warranty on the frame and a 2-year warranty on non-wearing parts (brakes and gears). Box and panels 1 year, Accessories 6 months, You can find the warranty periods per part in the warranty conditions.
Tested for safety and reliability
Babboe cargo bikes have been tested for safety and durability by the European testing authorities SGS and / or TÜV.

Electric Bikes are regulated in line with existing Electric Power Assisted Cycles regulations. Babboe does not endorse any upgrades that are added to electronic e-bikes, as this will invalidate a customer’s warranty.
10 Days Free Insurance On Your New Bike!
We offer 10 days free insurance with all new bikes purchased from The Electric Bike Shop, provided by our insurance partner VeloLife. You will be covered for the first 10 days of ownership against theft, accidental damage and malicious damage, so you can purchase with confidence.
If ordering online, you can select to include insurance during checkout will be given a link upon completing your order to activate your 10 days free insurance. If you are purchasing in-store or through our sales team then speak to them directly about activating your free insurance on your behalf.

Service Plans are available on all bikes purchased in store and online within 60 days of purchase and a great way to save money on future services.
Your Service Plan is non-refundable, non-transferable and is registered to you and your bike (frame number required)
To ensure that we never let our you down, we proactively monitor competitor prices and adjust our own prices every week.
