With load capacity increased from 210kg to 250kg, the new Longtail is designed not only for families, but for anyone looking to transport heavier or more varied loads with confidence.
Alongside this step forward in capability, the new Longtail also introduces a new lower step frame, developed in response to customer feedback. The revised design makes getting on and off the bike easier. A redesigned stand delivers greater confidence and stability while loading children or cargo.
The Longtail’s core drivetrain remains unchanged, with the proven Estarli Cycle Systems mid-drive motor and Enviolo gearing system continuing to deliver smooth, intuitive performance under load. Delivering 110Nm of torque, the system continues to offer exceptional climbing and hauling capability even at maximum load capacity. New edge-to-edge display, a cleaner and more intuitive display with improved functions.
Battery flexibility is also retained, but customers now opting for the long-range version can count on a massive 820Wh, offering even greater range for longer journeys or heavier use. A revised battery layout makes swaps, charging and security faster and easier.
Heavy-duty Enviolo hub gearing stepless automatic-style shifting delivers smooth riding without clunky gear changes. New freewheel and sprocket upgrades improve strength and durability. Tektro hydraulic brakes means you can stop confidently under load with premium hydraulic brakes. Enviolo Heavy Duty CVT hub gears and a Gates Carbon Belt Drive Clean, quiet and low maintenance, with no oily chain and exceptional long-term durability.

Parts & Accessories
Place an order for £50 or more and delivery is free to mainland UK (including Highlands), for an order under £50 delivery is charged at £8.99.
For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle Or Man and other non mainland locations additional charges will apply. For parts and accessories we aim to despatch the next working day after the order is placed.
For hygiene and safety reasons, helmets cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty. Please ensure you choose the correct size and style before purchasing.
Delivery With Multiple Items On Order

Lead Times Electric Bikes
Before despatch, bikes are built, configured and tested by one of our experienced technical team.
We aim to despatch an in-stock bike 1-4 days after an order is placed (not including weekends / bank & public holidays). For bike located in a warehouse location we aim to dispatch within 8-10 days (not including weekends / bank & public holidays).
Please note the dispatch timescale shown in on our website / basket / order confirmation are estimated. If applicable Saturdays are included in the calculation however items are normally only dispatched Monday to Friday.
Bikes will be delivered by DX or TNT, please for some models the front wheel will be packed in a separate box but both wheel and bike should be delivered at the same time.
On all boxed deliveries the product name on the box may not match the model inside (our team sometimes have to use a different box than the one that initially came from the manufacturer) so please open the box to check!

Boxed Bike Delivery
Boxed delivery requires basic assembly of your bike when it arrives. Generally the front wheel will need to be reattached, the bars will need to be turned plus pedals fitted.

FREE boxed bike delivery Our Free Boxed Delivery for bikes / baskets £999 and above is FREE to UK mainland locations (excluding Highlands where there is an additional surcharge payable).
For bikes under £999 we charge £49.99 for boxed delivery to to UK mainland locations (excluding Highlands where there is an additional surcharge payable).
We can also deliver a bike to BT Northern Ireland and IM Isle Of Man subject to surcharges plus Orkney and Shetland Islands, please refer to the map below for our current prices, for other non mainland locations please contact us for a quote.
Ready2Ride Delivery
Choose our Ready2Ride Service and one of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block. Ready2Ride Delivery For Cargo Bikes
From mid July 2024 we are now able to deliver a cargo bike in a box for FREE (to our regular FREE delivery areas - not Highlands etc)
Previously as our cargo bikes are larger than standard electric bikes they were only available for home delivery via our Ready2Ride delivery option (or click and collect), you can still select this option however if you prefer. One of our team will deliver your new bike, fully built, configured and tested, we will personally hand over your new bike, make adjustments if required and can also wait while you take a short test ride round the block.
This premium delivery is available to locations within a 50-75 miles radius of one of our stores. If your postcode qualifies for this service it will be available to select at checkout. If your delivery address is outside our delivery area please contact our Customer Services team on 0117 452 6571

Electric Bikes are regulated in line with existing Electric Power Assisted Cycles regulations. Estarli does not endorse any upgrades that are added to electronic e-bikes, as this will invalidate a customer’s warranty.
We offer 30 days free insurance with all new bikes purchased from The Electric Bike Shop, provided by our insurance partner Laka. You will be covered for the first 30 days of ownership against theft, accidental damage and malicious damage, so you can purchase with confidence.
