The Electric Bike Shop Returns Policy

We aim to please at the Electric Bike Shop, and if you are not completely satisfied with your electric bike purchase please contact us within 14 days.

We are sorry but national delivery has been suspended due to demand, click and collect is available and for local delivery please phone.

If you have any questions about buying online please just get in touch by phone or email - we can take orders over the phone if you prefer with payment via a secure link.

We have been selling electric bikes for over 5 years and have stores in Bristol, Solihull and Stroud Gloucestershire.


Distance Selling Refunds

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us. The bicycle must be returned to the The Electric Bike Shop in its original condition and with all accessories. 

If you need to return your bike within 14 days of purchase, we will issue you with a full refund bar any postage fees or refund charges issued by your card company. Bikes must be returned complete with the original box and packaging, in the same condition as received, with less than 'test' 5 miles completed.

Our refund policy does not apply if a test ride was undertaken prior to purchase. Please note that on all purchases of our ex demo models, refunds and returns do not apply and are at the discretion of The Electric Bike Shop Management. Please contact them to discuss. This does not affect your statutory rights.


Cancellations & Refunds

If we are unable to fulfil an order for whatever reason, we will contact you offering a suitable alternative product, or the opportunity to cancel your order.

If you wish to cancel your order you may do so, however if the product has been altered or changed by request of the customer the refund will be processed minus any alteration costs, and the cost of removing such alterations. If the product has been altered or changed by request of the customer, and the Electric Bike Shop are unable to return it to its original condition, no refund can or will be permitted.


Warranty Returns

What is included? Most bicycle parts are covered by the manufacturers warranty, however all the exceptions to this are listed below. The following are not covered under warranty:

• Normal wear and tear. Signs of wear and tear on the bikes components may be show in less than two years, depending on the amount of use, type of use and other conditions.
• Damage to products due to being improperly installed or improperly repaired.
• Products that have been modified, poorly maintained or neglected.
• Product damage from anything other than defects in product material.
• Stripped pedal threads. A step by step guide on how to fit the pedals properly can be found here.


Ex Demo/Display Warranty and Repair

• All ex demo, ex display or discounted products will be subject to a reduced warranty. Please confirm at time of purchase.
• All ex demo/display returns are at the discretion of The Electric Bike Shop Ltd.
• It is the responsibility of the purchaser to keep the product's original box, and provide the original box when returning an ex demo/display product.
• For the avoidance of doubt, it is the responsibility of the purchaser at their cost to return the product to The Electric Bike Shop for assessment and repair.
