Cube has identified that the crank bolts on selected 2025 bikes may loosen over time. This is due to one or a combination of the following factors:
You can read more on Cube's website HERE as well as view a list of models. This issue only affects bicycles from model year 2025, a receipt will show the bike code / article number starting with an 8, for example 802400M or 81260054.
We have already contacted customers whose bike may be affected by this issue via email.
All affected bikes must be inspected by a qualified Cube dealer or technician as soon as possible. If there is any looseness, unusual movement or noise, stop using the bike immediately and book an inspection.
