The Electric Bike Shop are committed to e-bike safety and supporting professional riders to keep safe.
Riders can book an appointment online to access our confidential service which will provide peace of mind to find out if their bike is legal and safe to ride.
Our specialist E-bike technicians will also do a free safety check and will provide battery safety education based on guidance from ROPSA and the Local Fire Departments.
If we find bikes that aren’t legal, we can talk riders through options to purchase a new reputable road legal bike or discuss our e-bike subscription service.

Riders must meet the rider perk criteria on the Deliveroo portal and must present your ID in store as well as provide the unique discount code available from your rider perk log in.
Bikes will be checked for UK legal compliance on arrival if they fail to meet the standards, you will be advised of this and be asked to take the bike away and you will be refunded.

Free Legal & Safety Check
Appointments must be booked online here you must include as much detail as possible in the booking form.
The Electric Bike Shop reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any point to manage demand for the service. If you attend one of our stores without an appointment, you may be asked to return at another time.
Initial assessments may be made outside the store if technicians have any safety concerns as a result of finding non-compliant, illegal or dangerous models brought for assessment.
If we deem the bikes battery to be unsafe we will direct you to the nearest Velorim partner for safe recycling. We will not be able to take bikes in store but we will provide advice and guidance on purchasing a safe and legal replacement.
If your E-bike is compliant our technician will complete safety check. This is a basic assessment of tyre pressure/wear, brake safety and chain safety. If any work is advised, we will provide a quotation for this and if you would like to go ahead the team will advise on timescales for completion of this.
